ApeiroRA – Building Europe's Sovereign Cloud Infrastructure
Cyberus Technology is proud to contribute to ApeiroRA (Apeiro Reference Architecture), a pioneering initiative focused on building a sovereign, secure, and open-source-based cloud infrastructure for Europe. As part of the IPCEI-CIS (Important Project of Common European Interest - Cloud Infrastructure and Services) framework, ApeiroRA sets out to define a blueprint for a European cloud ecosystem that is independent, interoperable, and resilient.Our role within ApeiroRA is to drive the development of critical technologies — particularly in the areas of secure virtualization, system automation, and infrastructure hardening. Drawing from our expertise in building lightweight hypervisors and secure system foundations, we are helping to ensure that the resulting architectures meet the highest standards for security, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
At the heart of our work is the goal of giving European enterprises, public institutions, and cloud providers full control over their digital infrastructure, free from proprietary dependencies. We also engage closely with partner organizations through NeoNephos and contribute to shaping common standards and technical frameworks that promote openness, transparency, and technological sovereignty.
Through ApeiroRA, Cyberus Technology is actively shaping the future of Europe’s cloud infrastructure — a future built on collaboration, innovation, and trust.
