KVM Backend for Virtualbox
At Cyberus Technology, we are committed to strengthening the open-source ecosystem through practical innovation. One of our major contributions is the KVM Backend for VirtualBox — a project that enables Oracle’s VirtualBox to run virtual machines directly on the Linux Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM) instead of relying on its own hypervisor.This development offers Linux users the ability to integrate VirtualBox more natively into their systems, combining the familiar ease of use of VirtualBox with the powerful performance and flexibility of KVM. By reducing overhead and improving compatibility, the KVM Backend makes virtualization setups simpler, faster, and more reliable.
Our work has been released openly to the community and has already attracted wide interest across the Linux ecosystem. We are proud to contribute to bridging the gap between different virtualization technologies, making it easier for users and developers to benefit from the best of both worlds.
